What to expect in the sessions with Mind Adjustment
CBT Therapy Session
Will consist of meeting myself and getting you to feel at ease, introducing you to a little bit about what CBT is and the way that the session will be.
You do not need to know anything about CBT before you begin your therapy I will explain it in an easy to understand way. We will talk about confidentiality the number of sessions you may work towards, how often your sessions will be, how long they will last how to cancel appointments and what happens if you miss an appointment. Usually I will have the information you gave at your initial screening appointment but I might ask you a little more about the main problem you would like some help with and about your circumstances this is to reach an understanding of how we will work together and what we will focus on within the sessions . After your first appointment you may be asked to keep a diary to journal or to read some info relevant to your problem. I will check with you if you are at any risk to yourself or from anyone else.
This is something we ask every client so that we can help you stay safe.

Health and Wellbeing, Exercise Session
These sessions will cover Healthy Living, Nutrition, Supplements and Exercise. Training the Body within the 4 main important components of Strength, Flexibility, Balance and Cardiovascular training . Designing Bespoke Programs Integrating all the different elements needed to reach your Fitness, Health and Wellbeing objectives . Comfortable loose clothing and trainers to be worn a medical form will be completed prior to first session noting any history of medical conditions or injuries . The Session can be carried out online or outside at home or in a Gym environment .

Mindfulness Session
Mindfulness can be defined as paying attention to the present moment without judgment, in order to create space of focus, mindfulness sessions typically take place in a space that is quiet and distraction free.
Sessions often begin with sitting practice in which you will sit quietly either on a chair or the floor closing your eyes or allowing your gaze to rest softly on the space in front of you, focusing on either your breath or other body sensations.
Many times there will be an opportunity to talk about your experiences between sessions. It is very normal for your mind to be easily distracted during practice the overall goal is to notice that distraction each time it happens and to bring your attention back to the area of focus . Comfortable clothing to be worn wearing shoes that are easy to slip off. Its also worth noting that if sitting is for any reason uncomfortable or difficult mindfulness practice can be done standing or lying down. We will cover Mindful living learning how to carry out tasks and actions being in the present learning not to be distracted and learning to be in the moment as much as we can possibly can.
